Phuong Le graduated from University of Melbourne, Australia with two degrees: Bachelor of Commerce with Honors in 1979 and an MBA in 1984. After graduation, she worked at JP Morgan in various capacities, involving corporate finance and corporate lending where she participated in Corporate Advisory assignments, Mergers & Acquisition transactions and Debt Underwriting opportunities.
In 1998, she moved onto the buy-side in a Senior Industry Analyst/Assistant Portfolio Manager role, proving buy/sell recommendations on high yield bonds, leveraged loans and distressed debt securities.
Since retiring in 2018, Phuong has done some travel and some volunteered work at her local community. She became an active member of NJVACA in 2020 with the primary role of fund raising and achieving the mission established by NJVACA.
