Scholarship Program from NJVACA
At NJVACA, we envision a community that invests in each other and in our future leaders. The best investment that a parent can dream of is for their children to attend college for higher education. US colleges are becoming more and more expensive every year, to the point that many experts says college costs have already reached unsustainable levels. Especially for low income families, additional fees, supplies, and text books can be major burden. Some college scholarships only cover tuition and fees, but not text books which parents have to pay for using their own out-of-pocket money.

Message to our community about Social Security
Social Security offices continue to provide service. Currently, most services are provided online at www.ssa.gov, or by phone, calling your local Social Security office or our national, toll-free number at 1-800-772-1213 and 1-800-325-0778 TTY. However, we also provide appointments for in-person interviews for limited, critical case situations. In order to visit a Social Security office, you first must call the office so that the staff may assess whether we may assist you by phone or if an in-person appointment is needed. To call your local Social Security office, go to www.ssa.gov/locator, scroll down and select Locate an Office by Zip, enter your five digit ZIP Code, and select Locate. Currently, only people with scheduled appointments may visit a local Social Security office.
