We are proud to announce the 2022 winners of the NJVACA High School Scholaship Awards. Congratulations to the two outstanding High School recipients of this year! We proudly present:

1) First Prize ($500) is awarded to Ms. Kaylee Châu from Roxbury High School.

2) Second Prize ($300) is awarded to Mr. Andrew Lê from Hamilton High School West.

NJVACA Scholarship Team

Lần đầu tiên Cộng Đồng Người Việt Tự Do tại New Jersey sẽ tổ chức Hội Chợ Tết rất đặc sắc và quy mô!

Hội chợ Tết Quý Mão năm nay sẽ được tổ chức tại một trong những banquet halls đẹp nhất và lớn nhất NJ, và có thể chứa tới 1,000 người tham dự.

Hãy đến để trải nghiệm một chương trình văn nghệ đặc sắc của các thành viên trong cộng đồng, cùng các ca sĩ từ những trung tâm nổi tiếng của hải ngoại. Thêm đó còn có những gian hàng giải trí, buôn bán, và quảng cáo để chúng ta cùng nhau tìm lại không khí của một cái Tết Việt Nam truyền thống có ý nghĩa. Đây cũng là dịp để kết nối, đoàn kết, và chung vui của quý đồng hương chúng ta. Ngoài ra còn có những món ăn tết đặc sản quê hương như bánh chưng, dưa món, giò thủ, thịt đông..

At NJVACA, we envision a community that invests in each other and in our future leaders. The best investment that a parent can dream of is for their children to attend college for higher education. US colleges are becoming more and more expensive every year, to the point that many experts says college costs have already reached unsustainable levels. Especially for low income families, additional fees, supplies, and text books can be major burden. Some college scholarships only cover tuition and fees, but not text books which parents have to pay for using their own out-of-pocket money. This year's scholarship program is geared towards the 12th grade students who have achived high level in academic and also in extra curriculum.

*** Updated on July 21st: Due to the extreme heat on the forecast for this coming Sunday, NJVACA has decided to move the time frame to 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Please come and join us on this fun event. We'll try to stay cool as much as we can - The Summer is almost here, the Sun is out, and about time to get the grill out!!! NJVACA will host an annual Summer Picnic on Sunday, July 24th at Alvin P. Williams Park. It will be an exciting event with lots of music, games, food, drinks, and fun under the sun. Everyone in our Vietnamese Community is invited to come and join us. We hope to see you all there!
